This week's top TEFL blog posts

My weekly update of the top TEFL blogs is here again.

New York by night
Escapism
Nomadic Matt is a great travel website by Nomadic Matt. It's full of travel tips, destinations guides, and useful articles. Matt has over 14,000 followers on his facebook page. One of my favourite articles is 18-lessons-from-5-years-around-the-world. (Photo by melbow)

TEFL Courses
I might as well do a bit of plugging. i-to-i now offer a new CELTA level qualification which has been approved by the UK government as a LEVEL 5 qualifications so it's all good.

Teaching online
I've often considered teaching online via skype. There are plenty of companies out there to do it with but competition is strong. Have a look at this article titled should-i-teach-english-online on ESL About.com.

Life in the classroom
I found a great post about 33-animals-who-are-extremely-disappointed-in-you on Larry Ferlazzo's blog. Some of the captions are a bit cheesy, but it could be a great activity to do with students so they write their own captions.

ELT Publishing
Thinking of getting into publishing? Here's a decent post by Alex Case on TEFL.net with some great Tips on getting into publishing.

That's all for this week, have a look at last week's post.
